Ultra short throw projectors have been around for a few years now. Some brands are even on their third generation models. Case in point is the Hisense PX3-Pro which is the upgraded version of their popular Hisense PX2-Pro.

A UST projector is like the magician of the projector world. It can cast a massive image, often over 100 inches, from just a few inches away from the screen or wall. This magic trick is possible thanks to its special wide-angle lens, which allows it to project a large image from a very short distance. When you pair one of these laser TVs with a UST projector screen you get an ambient light rejecting combination that gives you a gorgeous image in your home theater or in your living room.

In today’s laser TV showdown, instead of telling you which unit is better, (it's the new Hisense PX3-Pro) we're going to compare these two models so you can see for yourself why.

Let's meet the projectors.

So Which UST Should You Buy The PX3-Pro Or The Hisense PX2-Pro?

There is no doubt in our minds that the Hisense PX3-Pro is a vastly improved version of the PX2-Pro. It has better contrast, more light output, has a lower lag time, supports 3d and so much more. Even from a design perspective, Hisense did away with the odd protrusion on the PX2-Pro in favor for a much more sleek and modern aesthetic.

If you're looking to save money, the Hisense PX2-Pro is still a fantastic projector and a great value. For those looking to save a few bucks, they'll still be happy with the PX2-Pro.

However, all of the improvements on the PX3-Pro more than justify the higher price tag. If you buy the PX3-Pro you'll be not just happy, but ecstatic with your purchase!
