This projector is the real deal! Watch the Home Hook Up for a detailed review. I had two concerns: fan noise and focus. I can say the fan noise is normal, it’s a fan and can’t be heard over content. The focus in the upper corners is not crisp, but it’s also not a problem when watching content. Colors are rich, blacks are deep, contrast is excellent and I couldn’t be happier! This is my first projector ownership experience and it’s an amazing projector no matter the price. It’s even more unbeatable when you consider the AWOL LVT-3500 Pro is the only one in the shootout that scored a bit higher and it’s nearly 2.5 times the price. If you’re on the fence, hop off, buy this projector, stop with the analysis paralysis and enjoy!

So I started tinkering with short throws almost almost 15 years ago with the BenQ lineup back in college. It's insane to see how far these have come! I was very hesitant to pull the trigger on something so expensive on a company I'm not too familiar with, but watching several reviews and also buying the added 4 year warranty eased a lot of worry.

So here's the lowdown - this projector in combination with an ALR (Spectra Vantage UST 110") screen does an awesome job in daytime and nighttime. Especially in the dark, I forget it's a projector and not a TV (I have several 8 and 9 series Samsungs and an LG c2 OLED). I am SOOO happy I got this because I feel so immersed in the movie, show, game.

A few notes: Be patient with the menu system, you'll figure it out and it's VERY configurable. Nexigo does an awesome job updating their products and you can see that on their youtube channel as they push updates constantly based on feedback. Also, take your time understanding your placement of your screen (if that's how you're going to go). It's not as scary of a process as you would think - just make sure you have your projector at the height you'll work with normally and then follow the process from Spectra on how to figure out where to mount. Also, I strongly recommend the slider tray (got the motorized spectra slider tray for this UST projector). I feel like a kid again and my wife might actually buy me a popcorn machine and mini fridge haha Also, I hooked up a Roku Ultra 4k device and it is the perfect combo (and running my ps5 for gaming).

Also, worked with David Solomon, who was great! Shipping was so quick and the email responses were so quick as well. Very happy with the company so far.

Cons: The built in apps and stuff are trash, use your own stick.

Instructions to set it up with a screen aren't great. No keystone with gaming mode. I would suggest getting it with an ALR screen.

I had been looking for a long time to create a cinema room in my house with very high quality equipment, I was not disappointed. Firstly, yes you will have to buy a screen, and yes the screen is not cheap. The projector deserves a beautiful screen to express itself, and given the quality it has to offer, there is no point in take it and put it on a white wall. Now, if you put it in the right conditions, let me tell you that you will not be disappointed, it's simple, I will never go to the cinema again. The colors for a video projector are breathtaking even in broad daylight, we will thank the HDR10. The 120hz is a pure marvel, impossible to go back once you have tasted it. In short, in terms of image quality, it's pure joy, projected in my case on a 110' screen which takes up my entire living room wall, the immersion is absolute. In terms of sound, you can use it as what with the 60W speaker, but to be honest if you use it for cinema purposes I don't find the speaker in terms of the image quality provided. I won't take a star off for this, because it's a video projector, and the sound belongs to a specialized component like a home theater, but I highly recommend investing in a home theater system. The projector runs on Android by the way, so if your amplifier is bluetooth, you can connect them like that, that's my setup and it works wonderfully. Regarding use, it's Android behind, which allows by the way of having an android tv, supporting chromecast, apple airplay, windows remote... Very practical. Although the operation is very simple and quick, the adjustments of the image itself are great, in particular the correction trapezoid, because yes if you have then read, it is a short throw projector, and it is very impressive to see 110 inches projected less than 50cm from the wall. Keystone correction allows fine adjustments if the furniture where you place the projector is not completely straight, or the projection screen is wavy. Concerning the physical object, the projector is large and heavy. Well, bigger than I imagined but for the jewel of technology that it is, it is compared to the on-board technology, relatively small. You can see in the photo the rendering of the image as well as the focal length ultra short, really very well thought out in particular to avoid hanging the projector on the ceiling (which blocked me personally).
TL;DR: It's an investment, it's clearly not for everyone, you have to be able to do it do, but if you are planning to invest in making a cinema room, I sincerely think that you will not regret it.
