Totally satisfied with the performance of the Xgimi Ultra 4k projector. Quality excellent compared to my 4k tv. Excellent sound quality and picture quality. I displayed it on my wall with no projector screen. Works flawlessly. Packaging was great. Great customer service and support. I was able to avail my coupon. Had no issues. I highly recommend purchasing this product from this website.
Very nice 4K projector. Easy to setup and operate. I fell in love with it.
When I was researching for a home projector of a package like this, all of the ones will cost at least $3000, $4000, or even $6000, and with NO speakers, NO os, NO smart features. It truly feels like most projectors are stuck in 20 years ago, and this projector truly brings home projection to the year of 2023. Up to 200’’ screen instantly, a third of the weight compared with most projectors at this tier, tons of smart features that IT SIMPLY WORKS, a stylish design, smart OS, Harman Kardon speakers (2x), etc.! It simply got the complete package, and I have been absolutely falling in love. I don’t need to spend HOURS to set up, move stuff away, buy screens, calibrate, etc., IT JUST WORKS. Finally home projection catches up with smartphones in terms of intelligence. I’ll never go back. (Review From XGIMI.com)
When I first turned the Horizon Ultra on, I noticed the picture was set from the factory, which is normal. However, I was unfamiliar with all the features of this little gem, especially using the remote control which, as I had mentioned before, is not back-lit. I was in my home theater in the dark and fumbling with the remote to get the picture centered. It was, at first, exasperating. But I finally got used to it and centered the picture right where I wanted it. Then, the most amazing thing happened; I was blown away by the picture quality! I have an Epson 5040UB (the UB standing for “Ultra Bright”) hanging in my theater room. It is generally bright, but tends to get washed out in the daylight. But reviewing the Horizon Ultra, it is almost TOO bright. I had to adjust the picture levels through the custom picture settings. Once I did this, the picture stood out. Great colors and no bleeding (bleeding is when the colors are blown out and “bleed” onto other areas of the picture.) This is due to the LED lasers driving it. The biggest advantage to this projector is that the lasers last a minimum of 20,000 hours, so there is no need to ever replace the bulb in it; it truly is set and forget. Another advantage of the Horizon Ultra is the lack of pixel separation. You can get right up inches from the image and you will see no pixels. Even the best TVs made will show some pixel separation. This makes the image more lifelike. It even has an automatic lens cover to protect the lens when not in use and transporting. If you are looking for a great value in a projector, you won’t find anything better than the XGIMI Horizon Ultra. The price-point of $1699 is incredible, considering all the features and longevity of the projector. And the pros definitely outweigh the cons here, so if you can live with the cons, then you won’t go wrong with this projector. I give the XGIMI Horizon Ultra my highest recommendation. I had the XGIMI Elfin for about 2yrs before upgrading to the Horizon Pro. Elfin was great, but during daylight saving wasn’t bright enough for the well-lit room it lived in while watching movies in the evening. The speaker was also weak and my bluetooth speaker would lag from my PS5. Horizon Pro has been great so far. Much brighter and sharper image and colors. I run the brightness at about 4 once it’s dark outside. 6 when when it’s evening. New movies look fantastic, as well as some Criterion DVDs of classics I’ve viewed through my PS5. Watched Malick’s BADLANDS the other night, which I’ve seen at least a dozen times before, and it had never looked better to me. Android interface can be a little slow at first and the Netflix limitation is annoying, though I’m not a big Netflix user. Video games look rich. The stock speakers are a huge improvement and I actually notice the low-end I was completely missing previously. The style is top-notch, as well as the remote. It’s quiet. I haven’t noticed a fan at all.If I use this as much as I used my Elfin for the next two years (couple hours a night a few times per week), it will be well worth it. My projectors have always impressed my friends and family and I doubt I’ll ever buy another TV. I’m giving this a 4/5 because of the Netflix deal, interface which can be clunky, and I felt like the stock image settings looked worse than what I’ve dialed in on my own. It made everything look like a soap opera.
