We built a dedicated room in our new house for our grandkids. The room is 18’x23’x12’. In the rear of the room, we installed a loft of 5 twin beds for sleepovers. At the front of room, the addition of the Formovie Theater has made this the first room they head to when they come over. We were leaning toward a 100” screen prior to our contact with the knowledgeable people at Projectorscreen.com. After discussion with them, we chose a 120”. The size fits perfect on our 18’ wide, 12’ tall front wall. We built a stand for the projector that has 8” legs. The ultra short throw of the Theater works really well, putting the screen at a perfect height for our low seating choice without protruding out into the room. The picture quality gets many compliments. Many people mistake it for a flat screen LED. We think the Spectra screen that was recommended by your associate has a great deal to do with it. It just looks fantastic, the sharpness, colors, black levels, brightness…..Everything! Looking forward to many years of enjoyment to come for our family.

I had ordered a BenQ V7050i which came in and looked fantastic on the wall but I needed an ambient light rejecting screen because the image wasn't as good as I wanted during the day.

So after waiting a while for another UST projector screen to come in, (Joe was great at keeping me updated about the status) I was asked if I wanted to switch to a Spectra Vantage screen. I couldn't find much info on them but Joe showed me a few photos comparing the two screens and I couldn't really tell the difference. So I said ok lets do it!

I'm so glad I did!

First of all, they were able to send me the screen just three days later.

Setting up the screen was a piece of cake. I think it took me and a friend about 40 minutes to build it, get it up on the wall and position the projector. Instructions were really easy to follow and the adjustable bracket made fine tuning the position so much easier.

The screen looks great on the wall. I especially like the black velvet coated border. Really classes up the screen.

When I fired up the projector I instantly knew the Spectra screen was worth every single penny. With all the lights on and the sun shining in the picture on the screen looked fully colorful and vibrant. If you didn't know you would have guessed it was a flatscreen TV. It even made the image look better with the lights off. THIS SCREEN IS AMAZING!!!!

If you buy an ultra short throw projector you need to pair it with a Spectra Vantage screen. You'll thank yourself every time you watch anything.

It's really really good...

Just got the projector set up in a temporary space before moving it into our home theatre area that is being renovated. Even as it projects straight onto drywall, I was amazed at the image quality! I can't wait to see what it looks like when we move it to our Spectra Vantage screen, but in the meantime it's still an image worth bragging about. I was also surprised by how loud and full the audio sounds straight from the projector!

Again, this was good enough were I would be satisfied with it as a standalone if not using it in a dedicated home theatre space.

My biggest issue so far was the on-screen setup process gave very little instruction on the image positioning focus and angle guidelines. Some of this was intuitive, but I would have felt more comfortable with some kind of text explanation on how to optimize the projected image.

Overall very happy with the purchase and even considering getting another for my office!

Two of us spent about 3 hours assembling and wall mounting the screen and setting up the projector. More than “ some assembly required” but not difficult . The results were immediate and awesome. Vivid colors and contrast were really great

We first set up the projector to illuminate a white wall to determine the best location of the screen- very important !!

Next we assembled the screen on a flat carpeted floor to protect it during assembly. We laid out the parts first with some difficulty since they were NOT identified. Making sure the springs engaged the rods inserted into the screen edges is important and not obvious. Locating the hangers to get the screen at the right height was NOT obvious, but eventually we succeeded

Nice product, improves the experience of using a short throw projector. Assembly isn’t too bad but the directions could be improved.
